Aruba Tourism Authority Presents Authentic Aruba Food Festival 2024

This event will highlight the culinary diversity that Aruba has to offer and showcase the exceptional talent of our chefs. The festival provides a unique opportunity to explore the rich variety of foods, discover new restaurants, taste diverse flavors and appreciate haute cuisine that reflects Aruba’s culinary traditions and cultural diversity. 

With more than one hundred nationalities on our island, this event will be another celebration of our cultural heritage and the different flavours that are part of our identity. 

The festival will serve as a platform for the culinary sector to showcase its products, generate more local support and enthusiasm, and unite restaurants with culinary students from EPB and EPI. It will also help position Aruba as an international culinary destination. 

The Autentico Aruba Food Festival is divided into two parts: Autentico Restaurant Week: From Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 11, participating restaurants will feature their own menus, special offers or unique events that will be posted on the event calendar on the Autentico website. 

Wilhelminastraat Food Weekend: This event will take place over the weekend of October 12th and 13th, under the beautiful night stars on the historic Wilhelminastraat in downtown Oranjestad. 

The event will offer locals and visitors the opportunity to enjoy a variety of food and drinks at different stalls, illustrating the representative world of Aruban gastronomy. 

Additionally, there will be local entertainment and competitions such as Bartender's Brawl and Iron Chef Aruba on the main stage. 

What can you expect during the event? 

During the Bartender's Brawl on Saturday, October 12, the sixth edition of this event will take place in Aruba, where several bartenders will compete to present original drinks. 

During the Iron Chef competition on the main stage on Sunday 13 October, three chefs will compete to prepare special dishes, assisted by cooking students from EPB and EPI. In addition, the public will be able to enjoy a wide variety of restaurants presenting two of their dishes at an attractive price, while being treated to local musical talent on the streets of Wilhelminastraat. 

There will be several places to sit, relax and enjoy the event. Tickets will be available soon on the website www.autenticofestival.com. By purchasing a “Weekend Pass” valued at AWG. 54, you will receive a credit of AWG. 30 that can be used during the days of the event. 

Alternatively, you can purchase a “Daily Pass” valued at AWG. 36, and receive a credit of AWG. 20 to use on the day of the event. Each ticket includes a reusable cup, food and beverage credit, and access to the Bartender's Brawl and Iron Chef competitions.
