Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), the trade association representing the interests of destinations and stakeholders throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, along with the lines that operate more than 90% of the world’s cruise capacity, is proud to announce that it will debut a new networking feature during its flagship event and the region’s only official cruise conference and trade show, the FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show, taking place in St. Maarten from October 22-25.
The exclusive event has been created to enable anyone interested to do business with the cruise industry at full speed. The invitation-only event will be coordinated by the FCCA and supported by FCCA member cruise lines. Presidents, CEOs and other high-level cruise executives will host tables that will be open to industry stakeholders looking to do business and build relationships, while enjoying a festive evening with plenty of surprises.
“We have always prided ourselves on providing direct opportunities for local stakeholders to maximize the benefits they gain from cruise tourism, and this new feature was created with that in mind,” said Michele Paige, Executive Director of FCCA. “I look forward to seeing what results this brings for our members and to seeing the ‘Presidents’ Dinner’ become a fixture of the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show.”
“FCCA has a way of making business and networking fun at events like this, and I’m sure you won’t want to miss it,” said Micky Arison, president of FCCA and Carnival Corporation & plc.
While still in the planning stages, the event will feature presidents and senior executives from FCCA member lines, with five already confirmed to attend the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show: Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International; Chris Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea; Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises; Richard Sasso, President of MSC Cruises USA; and Harry Sommer, President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.
