Prime Travel had a positive participation in ATM 2024

In this context, Travel2latam spoke with Ayse Yasar, Vice President of Sales at Prime Travel.

What are your expectations when participating in ATM?

This is our first time at ATM because in previous years we were only visitors. Today we have a stand here and enormous potential with new customers. Last year was amazing because we visited after COVID, and that's why we decided that this year we should have a booth here. We had so many new customers and suppliers around the world, not only from the UAE, but also from Europe and Latin America. Today we have some new clients. So overall, it's been a great show for us so far. 

What are the main international markets for you?

For us, the US is the main market and then Türkiye because our headquarters is in Türkiye. Then another important market is Europe and LATAM, which has also been a big success for us in the last two years. But the main ones are the USA, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates. 

What are your next steps after this exhibition? 

We are the main sponsor of events that will take place in Mallorca, after that we will also sponsor a summit in Sitges again. And we still have a full schedule ahead of us.

And as a company, what are our next plans?

We are very focused on our new company called Book for Beds, based in Mallorca, with an operational date for September. Personally, I will move to Mallorca. I'll be there in our new office, which is very exciting for us.

Can you briefly describe your story? 

I am officially studying law at university and worked as an Executive Legal Solicitor in the UK for six years. After that I worked for Thomson Holidays for another five years and then for MTS Holiday as a Contract and Area Manager. I moved to Australia for a short period of rest. And from Australia I started my company Bedsopia Prime Travel. I first started as a Contracts Manager, then I was a Business Development Manager, and now I am Vice President of all four companies.

How do you work to offer a better solution for the travel industry as a company? 

To be honest, I feel very blessed and lucky to be part of this excellent company, because we follow everything worldwide very closely. The news exists because we attend summits and conferences, as well as main networks and specific events. We are trying to adapt to our daily office life. One of the owners of our company, the CEO, is very good with technology and AI solutions, so in our company we have robots. We don't use anything manually, everything is through technology. We are very focused, and we have direct hotel contracts. We even have a payment solution that makes everything easier for us and our great global partners.
