In assessing the strength of relations between France and the Dominican Republic, Gómez highlighted the speed at which Dominican tourism is developing with new investments and the increasing flow of visitors from different parts of the world.
In this regard, he referred to the good prospects that in tourism will have for the country the establishment of diplomatic relations with China.
He explained that he also discussed with Minister García about the hotel project initiated by the prestigious French hotel multinational Club Med, in the Miches area and the "Music Festival", an event that is organized every year by the diplomatic headquarters and held since 2009 in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo during the month of June.
On his side, the minister of tourism thanked the diplomat for his visit and highlighted what the French market represents for the Dominican Republic.
